Welcome back AJ!!!! It was fun hearing about your trip to Mexico! It sure sounded like you had a great time surfing and swimming with the Dolphins. And...look what he found for me! It is sooooo awesome that they BELIEVE over there too! Thank you so much for thinking of me AJ. I for sure did not have one like this one yet! How lucky am I?
Homework tonight is a reading comprehension sheet on Mt. Rushmore. We studied it in SS on our Midwest tour. We also talked about it in MT History and looked at it from the American Indian point of view. Two different stories for sure! Kids need to read the sheet and answer the questions on the back.
We went over all the spelling words today. Kids had some time to google and google image them to discover how they are linked to the upcoming holiday tomorrow. We watched a video on the Blarney Stone. Ask your kiddo to describe/show to you how people kiss it. Not as easy as one would think. If they can show/tell you write BLARNEY in the planner for $10.
Kids that wear green tomorrow will earn $50.
