Testing Again Tomorrow!

Hello there.

Due to testing, there is no homework again this week. However, kids have a math project that they need to do some home prep work for. They have a sheet for you in their homework folder explaining it. If they show it to you, write MATH in the planner for $50. I reminded them three times to bring it home. :0)

We did our first session of Smarter Balance Testing today. It went great. There were only 4-6 questions, but kids took their time and answered each part of each question. Tomorrow, we will do the reading one. They have to type an essay. Don't worry...they are ready! :0)

Rumor has it we have a birthday in the house tomorrow! :0) Right Krissy??? Yay!

We are working hard in language arts on a play called, Commotion In The Ocean. All kids have been assigned a part. They are making props in class. We will perform it for our 2nd grade buddies and first grade friends. I will let you know when...but it will be next week sometime if you want to come watch too. They should be memorizing their lines at home. Ask your kiddo what part they have. If they can tell you their lines, write PLAY in the planner for another $50.
