Tuesday folders came home today. Inside you will find...
1. Midterms for 3rd quarter. If a grade is really low, it is probably due to a missing assignment. Check online for details. Kids checked grades online today, so they know how and can show you if need be. Remember a 4-A, 3-B, 2-C, 1-D, 0-F. If you see this, write MIDTERM in the planner for $10.
2. Multiplication Basic Facts Testing. Practice needed!!!!
3. Next week is Dr. Seuss week at Arrowhead. Each day, we will read a fun book written by him. Kids may dress up according to the theme written on the green sheet. I will post them to the right as well. Kids that participate while earn $50 each day.
4. New book orders. Order online or send them in. Fun stuff!
Homework tonight is a half page letter to me. Kids have 5 days left to finish up their Terabithia books.
We had fun with our 2nd grade buddies today celebrating winter. Kids had to take a snowman outline and turn it into something other than a snowman. They were to bring those home tonight to share with you. There were some pretty creative ones out there!!! If they did bring it home, write what they created in the planner for $10 tomorrow.
Miss. Laney was our star of the week last week. She finally got to share today. :0) Who knew she was so crafty...knitting, paper building and so sporty...basketball, softball...wow! It was great to learn more about you Laney. Thanks for sharing with us!
