This morning, Noah B started us off with his star of the week sharing. He shared his NEW Rocky Bowl Championship ring…wow it is like he won the Super Bowl!!! Noah not only plays football, but also loves to play baseball as well. Noah also loves to draw and paint…and he is great at it! Thanks for sharing with us Mr. Noah!!!
In math today, we started two digit by two digit. We did it the old fashioned way like you and I learned it. Tomorrow we will look into Lattice, which is an alternate way to solve the same type of problems as well. Options are good. However, tonight…have your kiddo share with you how to solve 62 x 25. If they do, write MATH in the planner for $10 tomorrow.
A couple for changes in the schedule for this week: There is a half day Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Kids are out at noon each day. This means that PEAK Fitness Club with Mr. Pertuit will ONLY be on Tuesday this week. They will NOT meet on Wednesday or Friday this week.
On Wednesday, Arrowhead is proud to partner up with other schools in the district to show our BELIEVE powers for Riverside Middle School. We all know that school needs some positive vibes lately. So…we are going to have a $1 donation day THIS Wednesday for the Riverside Jazz Band. They have been invited to go play for the Governor at the Capitol Building in Helena. This is a HUGE opportunity for those kiddos, and we want to be a part of it! Kids that bring in a $1 donation, may also bring in a small snack size zip-lock (or half a sandwich size) full of their Halloween Candy. Mrs. Meier is allowing this ONE time candy for snack this Wednesday only. Yippee!!! Candy at school!!! Yes! :0) If kids don't want Candy, then any snack is acceptable. (Cookies…etc.) I am sooooo proud to be involved in this effort and can't wait to deliver the check to their band teacher, Mr. Goodheart! Yes!
Report cards come home tomorrow. All grades are final at this time.

The Arrowhead book fair is also going on this week. It is always fun to reward great conferences with a great book. Cash, checks, or credit card are taken. It is also open before and after school this week. :0)
Homework tonight is the last States and Capital Math Puzzle.
I leave you with a picture of Gwen's fun furry friend. She bought the coupon on Friday to bring him/her to class for the day. Fun and cute!!! AJ and Noah L also enjoyed sitting on a yoga ball rather than in their chair all day as well. Gotta love positive consequences for positive choices!!! Yay!
